Grow an avocado tree at home!
1. Peel your avocado stone
After enjoying your best avocado toast, take the stone, wash it and remove its thin brown skin
2. Prepare it for soaking
Place it in a piece of kitchen roll, dampen it well and put it in a bag or airtight container
3. Give it a little time
Leave it in the dark for ≈ 4 weeks
Once your stone has split and a small root appears, that means it's ready for a soak!
4. Pop on its ring… and into the water!
Fill a glass, vase or similar with water. Then place the core on its float, with the root fully submerged in the water #poolparty
5. Watch your avocado tree grow
Be patient — a stem will quickly grow and leaves will appear! Once you have several leaves and roots, you can repot it in soil.
